As is true for many things, the basketball journey can be a beautiful mess. Players are lost, parents are lost, some fans are even lost and, if you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’re trying to find your way too! That’s where I come in…

My name is Teige Morrell. I am a professional basketball player currently living in Australia with my husband, David. David is a coach in the NBL1 and I play in both the NBL1 and the WNBL! You probably realize this by now, but I also run an online business called Pro Ball Buddy where I coach and mentor kids of all ages.

David and I began our journey together back in Reno, Nevada where I played 4 years of Division 1 Basketball on a full-ride scholarship to graduate with a Journalism major and Sociology minor at the University of Nevada, Reno. We met (yes, through basketball), dated for a year, were engaged for 3 weeks and married on July 8, 2018! Shortly after, on New Year’s Day 2019, David and I found ourselves saying goodbye, America – hello, Australia!

Or, rather, “G’day!” – I should say!

David and I love basketball – but not just the game of basketball; the journey, the adventure, the process. And we’re on mission to help others fall in love with the process too! Specifically, I love helping players build mental toughness and clarity to succeed on and off the court.

No matter what part of the journey you’re on – from just beginning to already retired; on the outskirts as a parent or fan; a beautiful success or nothing but a mess – I’m glad you found your way here. I hope you’ll let me come along for the ride. And if you do decide to stick around, thank you. It’s an honor to be a part of your basketball journey!
